Members of the Bobst Group and the Peters company recently attended a production startup of Wellpappe Ansbach's new Peters corrugator, a replacement for an older machine now being dismantled. The new machine, constructed and installed by Peters in Hamburg, Germany, went into production late last summer. It produces single wall, double wall and triple wall boards.

The corrugator line consists of three single facers, a quadruple glue unit for special products and a double-backer, equipped with thermosheet heating plates and gliding shoes. The corrugator's dry end is controlled by a Zeus system.
