Van Leer Metallized Products Ltd. in Caerphilly, Wales, has purchased a Maxon MSL sheeter. This investment will help the company capacitate the reportedly growing demand for VLMP label paper products.

The company purchased the sheeter in the face of competition from U.K. and mainland European equipment manufacturers. Its new sheeter line consists of four pivot arm shaftless rollstands, four web conditioning units, a stationary bed rotary cutter, an overlapping delivery system and a series 350 stacker.
