These new top entry mixers offer a choice of marine-type propellers or four bladed axial flow turbine impellers. Both types reportedly feature quiet operation, Timken roller bearings, splash oil lubrication, a compact design with low headroom, faster blending and a self-aligning quill. A stainless steel shaft and two stainless steel propellers or impellers are standard. According to the company, electric models are totally enclosed, fan-cooled single-phase or three-phase with 175 rpm; air models have an rpm range of 30-300; variable speed electric models are single-phase and operate at 20-200 rpm; mixer models range in horsepower from one to five and all are gear driven.
