Stora Enso Approves EU500 Million Upgrade of Its Belgian Mill

Stora Enso's board of directors gave the go ahead for the upgrade of the company's Langerbrugge mill in Belgium. The EU500 million improvement includes a rebuild of PM 3, a new newsprint production line and a new bio-fuel power plant. The PM3, once rebuilt, is scheduled to begin production at the end of 2002.
