S.C.A.O. in Clisson, France, has purchased a Pallmac Model 2000 Cross Omni-separator and Pallmac Omni-Pall DC II palletizer from Pallmac Belgium nv/sa. The new line is scheduled to run behind S.C.A.O.'s Bobst 203-A Matic flatbed diecutter.
The Pallmac Omni-separator utilizes a bi-directional separating system, reportedly capable of accepting nicked-together blanks in both directions, maximize the number of outs and allow the separation of any diecut pattern. The Omni-Pall DC II is available in both column- and chimney-stacking versions, reportedly capable of taking collective bundles and automatically dividing them into individual packs.
