Italy's Cartiera del Polesine has delayed the installation of a new containerboard machine at its Loreo, Italy plant.

Over Meccanica, the supplier of PM4, was expected to ship the unit in December 2001, however, Polesine requested the delivery to be postponed.

The machine has an output capacity of approximately 400-tonnes/day of testliner and waste-based fluting from 100% recycled fiber. Other features include a design speed of 1,200-m/min. and an operating speed of 1,000-m/min.
