Norampac Inc., owner of eight containerboard mills and 24 corrugated converting plants in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and France, acquired Norseman, S.A. de C.V., as it continues its expansion into the protective packaging market.

The new Mexico-based unit will compliment Normpac's Monterrey, Mexico division, providing one-stop shopping for both its corrugated and protective packaging businesses. The new facility will service the electronic and automobile industry.
