Middle East Paper Company (MEPCO) is installing a new 100,000-tonne/year waste-based containerboard unit at its Jeddah, Saudi Arabia greenfield mill. The machine will produce approximately 55,000-tonnes/year of brown and white testliner and 45,000-tonnes/year of waste-based fluting.

MEPCO anticipates the projected cost to be around US$40 million. A majority of the mill's output will be sold locally, while remaining output will be exported to other Middle Eastern nations as well as parts of Africa.
