Lorentzen & Wettre presents two new tensile testers: L&W tensile tester and L&W tensile tester with fracture toughness.

According to Thomas Furst, product manager for Lorentzen & Wettre, the new tensile testers provide high-precision results with a minimum of work. He said that 30 different measuring programs can be pre-set and stored and the results can be presented graphically on the display in less than 10 seconds from test start.

The new L&W tensile testers are designed to be reliable and user-friendly instruments for rapid and efficient determination of tensile strength, stretch, tensile energy absorption and tensile stiffness of paper and board. The measurement reportedly starts automatically when a test piece is in position.
