Green Bay, Wisconsin Green Bay Packaging Inc.'s Folding Carton Division, located in Green Bay, Wisconsin, has achieved five years without a lost-time injury. Richard Garber, vice president, general manager of the facility said, "The attainment of this milestone is indicative of the quality of our workforce. People here genuinely care and watch out for each other to ensure that everyone is working as safely as possible." A formal awards ceremony was held recently during which Wausau Insurance Companies, the division's workers' compensation carrier, recognized the division with a "Safety Achievement Award" plaque. The award was presented by Bob Busch, senior safety consultant for Wausau. The folding carton division also received the corporation's Crystal Eagle award. Laurie Malecki, Quality/Safety Coordinator, said, "It's important for our employees to recognize that their efforts aren't going unnoticed. A safer workplace is something we all strive for."
