In the past eight weeks Graphics Microsystems Inc. has installed more than 45 new automated color control and color measurement systems. Of these installations, more than 25 are Microcolor systems, which are 100% digitally controlled, computer-run, remote-ink key-control systems. It can be installed on a variety of presses, both new and retrofit. The following are among the new installations: Burd & Fletcher, Independence, Missouri, specializes in printing frozen food packaging and has retrofitted Microcolor II to a Harris sheetfed press; and Label-Pak Int'l Co., an adhesive label printer in Bierge, Belgium, is using the Microcolor I on its new six-color Nilpeter M3300.
