Pira, a U.K.-based research organization, has published Corrugated Board Packaging for the European Market, a report stating that corrugated packaging, due to its cost-effectiveness, continues to thrive in the European packaging market. In order to maintain its position in the European market, the report cautions, the corrugated packaging industry needs to rethink its strategy in terms of innovation.
