Pet accessories manufacturer Rolf C. Hagen, Castleford, West Yorkshire, commissioned Corrugated Products Display, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, to construct a display to boost sales for its new pet care videos. The results have reportedly been very positive. "We decided to launch the range of videos following the success of a similar production that provided practical instruction on how to build a garden pond," said Belinda Hill of Rolf C. Hagen. "That video was displayed on a purpose-built stand together with our range of garden pond products. The problem was the videos were not very secure on the stand, so we decided to go for something better." Hagen, having dealt with Corrugated Products Display in the past, commissioned it to produce something that would act as both a transit case and a point-of-purchase medium. The company responded with a screen-printed carton in B-flute corrugated, featuring six different headers to advertise each of the six pet care videos in the range. Each carton holds a total of 12 videos. "This has made life much easier for us because our own warehouse now sends out complete packages of 12 videos and the retailer simply opens the carton, places the header board in position and has an instant point-of-sale display. This has been extremely successful and we can see the concept having great potential in the future," said Hill.
