Shipments of corrugated products were down in the second quarter of this year, dipping 5.5% year-to-date from 191.747-billion-sq.-ft in June 2001 compared to 202.829-billion-sq.-ft. in the same month the year before.
Containerboard consumption also dropped off by 6.8% year-on-year, slipping to slightly over 14-million tons in June 2001 from 15.5-million tons the year earlier.
