These air chucks and shafts have built-in on-off inflation switches located in front of the chuck. Reportedly easier to operate because no reaching is required, the unit eliminates both mounting an external switch and the external tubing that can catch on other parts. Maximum bore sizes are 1.75 in. in diameter in the standard model, and 1.625 in. in the heavy-duty model. The new air chuck is also available with and without core stop flange. The overall length is determined by customer requirements. Air chucks can be supplied with or without shafts, and custom designed chucks and shafts are available.
